Step into the precision world of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) — where skill meets finesse, and clean, flawless welds are the name of the game. In this immersive, hands-on course, you'll learn to tame the arc and wield the torch like a true metal artisan.

What You’ll Learn:

  • TIG Setup & Components: Understand your machine, torch, tungsten electrodes, shielding gas, and filler rods — and how they all work together.

  • Safety & Workspace Prep: TIG requires attention to detail — and that starts with safety. Learn how to protect yourself and create the ideal welding environment.

  • Torch Control & Arc Starting: Learn the rhythm and coordination of hand-feeding filler metal, managing your heat input, and initiating the arc without contamination.

  • Weld Like an Artist: Practice running beads on mild steel and stainless — flat, clean, and controlled — with expert guidance every step of the way.

  • Troubleshooting for Perfection: Identify common TIG issues like tungsten contamination, arc wander, and poor gas coverage — and learn how to fix them fast.
